Part time cross dresser trying to figure things out.

I am a life long M2F transgender person. I began dressing at age 8. I dressed on and off as a kid and teenager. My TG feelings became very intense at about age 43 and I began dressing fully. My first makeover was an amazing experience. Today, I have a full wardrobe and dress fully. I'm a real girdle girl. I have attended several TG conferences and learned a lot. A woman who is in touch withe herself

I only lived about 13 years in boy mode. When I was a little, when people assumed I was a girl, I just went along with it. Had an orchi and transitioned to full time female in my 20's. Found out I had undifferentiated testicles, so my body had not really been producing T, or I hadn't responded to it or something. In any case. Made passing as female much easier than passing as male, especially after getting put on HRT. Transitioned to female full time about 1 month after figuring out that I'm Trans. Had 3 children from a marriage to a woman which ended due to her not being a lesbian. Married a man a few years after, but it didn't work out because he was not OK with me working (but I had to because there were children). After that, decided not to get into another relationship until the kids were older. I didn't want them boding to someone else that might just go poof on us. Time passed, I did the single parent thing while working. I lived a woman's reality instead of the trans fantasy of what being a woman is. Eventually the little ones grew up, moved out, and I found myself free to reach out and dip my toe into the dating pool again. Kind of going through a little grieving thing over lost time, but I wouldn't trade it for the world. Currently, I am working on a lot of self care while trying to figure out how I can have full GRS. Working with a therapist for a timeline. The sooner the better. If offered tomorrow, I'd jump at the chance. Because I got married, rather than dating and kind of avoided dealing with anything to do with my non-standard plumbing, I am very unsure about my sexual orientation. The best sexual experience of my life was with another woman when I was working as a cocktail waitress. She showed me what my body was capable of. On the other hand, I have an itch I can't scratch. When I'm crushing hard on a guy, I want him inside me sooo bad, but its not possible because there is no "there" there, at least not yet. I'm very confused about it and want to become more sex positive and experiment to find out what "I" like for a change. I'm mostly interested in men, but it really depends on the person.

I recently purchased a second home in the Tampa area and now dividing my time between here and my Virginia home. I am excited to be out exploring the new area and anxious to meet new friends. I have been out and about for many years traveling down different paths and exploring interests along the way. I love opportunities to meet others and share experiences. I am now retired and finally have the time and opportunity to do those things I put off. I have a wonderful spouse who has helped encourage me to be the real me. I have been on a HRT program for several years and have had some cosmetic enhancements which have helped me feel better about myself emotionally and physically.
